Smashed bus windows and racial animosity between groups of preteens are just the start of Casey's troubles. The murder of a colleague at Mainland Public Transport creates added upheavals as accusations, spilled secrets, and escalating violence threatens lives. Is the killer a colleague and friend, or is someone else lurking in the dark, waiting to destroy Casey's life?
"The novel's short, punchy chapters whisk the story along to a thrilling climax, while the characters' relationships and rivalries provided a strong emotional anchor." - Quill & Quire
