Don Casselman writes from his personal experiences in living in the Kirk household and from working for Mr. Kirk in the furnace business. So from about 1941 when Don went to work for Mr. Kirk until Roger Kirk's death in 1966, there were many first-hand memories experienced by Casselman, and in addition there were many stories related to Don Casselman as he worked side by side with Mr. Kirk. Being raised as one of the family as well as one of the employees gives Don the special insights to relate stories you may not ever have learned elsewhere.

Born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1925.
Moved to Three Hills, Alberta in 1941.
