A young boy feels like he's responsible when his younger brother is lost while his family is on vacation in the mountains. A decade later he seeks love through a mail order bride after making one last ditch effort to locate his brother, only he doesn't hold out much hope and he's decided that he'll give it one more try then give up the search for good.
