Join our characters at Christmas when Greg, needing a little extra money, takes a job as a parttime Santa at a nearby mall. Following Christmas, the girls decide a ski trip is in order and are determined to take Greg with them.

"Greg will never willingly go on a ski trip," noted Jennifer.

"Uh, Jennifer," observed Ellen, "When has Greg ever been given an option as to what he does?"

So, off he goes, because when the girls decide something, the thing is decided.

Then comes a celebration of Groundhog Day combined with a very unusual birthday.

But life is not always perfect. Carol has to come face to face with losing an aunt she was very close to, and grows stronger in the process.

Take a trip back to the 1960s, a time before computers, tablets and cell phones, when young people hung out together and formed friendships face to face.

Autorentext

Although not quite over-the-hill, Doug is certainly approaching the summit. He lives in Etobicoke which is a polite way of saying West Toronto. When not exercising such creative talents as he may possess, Doug may be found gardening or out somewhere fishing. He comes with a large bald spot, a dark sense of humour, and a fondness for chocolate eclairs ? or chocolate anything actually.
