E. Coombe has travelled the world, exploring the myths of different countries. She is the author of many successful children's books and games, which she has licensed and sold through Mattel, Pancake Press, Funtastic and Landsdowne, and in 2000 was awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award by Canberra University for her contribution to children's literature and games. She is the author of the FARAWAY FAIRIES series (as Eleanor Coombe) and the DRAGON BLOOD PIRATES series (as Dan Jerris).
