The African Renaissance: Cry No More is a compilation of my hearts desires and my trials and tribulations. Through trials and tribulations, my heart revealed my innermost feelings, a road map of such, through the journey of my lifes mysteries. In The African Renaissance: Cry No More, I share observations. The world around us is one large canvas, which awaits an artist to paint his or her masterpiece. The African Renaissance: Cry No More consists of poetry and journal entries. In The African Renaissance: Cry No More, I share my experiences through the written word in an effort to guide others through similar trials and tribulations.

E. Holmes was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She now resides in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She successfully earned an associate degree in journalism and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She was presented the Editor's Choice Award for outstanding achievement in poetry from the National Library of Poetry in 1994.
