This story links two men from Atlanta, Georgia and a discovery of some archaeological significance. They are next door neighbors, friends, embarking on a rafting-camping trip down the Chattahoochee River, starting at Buford Dam. Their saga begins in mid-October and is to last over a week. Unforeseen circumstances radically change during the outing to the point it affects their very survival.

For those of you who have read my first book, The Old lighthouse, you know my history from the back cover. I am still working toward the move to Zihuatanejo, but the economy right now is not helping the sale of my house in Atlanta. By the time my next book, Saving Yesterday is Published, I hope I will be in Mexico.
