E. Y. K. Ng received his Ph.D from Cambridge University, UK and is an associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He serves as editor for six international journals and as editor-in chief for two SCIE-indexed journals. He is an invited speaker at many international scientific conferences and workshops. His research interests are in thermal imaging, biomedical engineering, breast cancer detection, computational fluid dynamics, and heat transfer. U. Rajendra Acharya holds a Ph.D from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, India and a D.Eng from Chiba University, Japan. His interests are in biomedical signal processing, bio-imaging, data mining, visualization, and biophysics for better healthcare design, delivery, and therapy. He has worked on various funded projects with grants worth over 1.5 million SGD. He holds faculty positions with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore; SIM University, Singapore; Singapore Institute of Technology-University of Glasgow Degree Programme; and Manipal Institute of Technology, India. Widely published, he often acts as a guest editor and serves on the editorial board of many journals.

Rangaraj M. Rangayyan is a professor at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is a pioneer in the field of computer-aided diagnosis and a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers, Engineering Institute of Canada, Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine, Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society, and Canadian Academy of Engineering. His areas of research are digital signal and image processing, biomedical signal and image analysis, and medical imaging. He has been recognized with the 2013 IEEE Canada Outstanding Engineer Medal and the IEEE Third Millennium Medal (2000).
