Ice element programmer Soji of the meridian had been drafted into the Selatan military. But Soji prefers to use his excellent skills in helping at the barracks kitchen instead. When Soji is called in by high-ranking officials in the military, he is taken into the "shadow division", a section only few know about, and even he does not know what he is getting himself into.

The assassinations begin, though, and there is no good explanation for why Soji loses control and memories.
