When Rey loses her husband in a plane crash a month before her fiftieth birthday, she seems to recover from the loss and slowly begins returning to her everyday life. Elian Hen-Ninve was born and raised in Israel. She graduated from the Israel Government School of Tourism and became a certified tour guide and travel agent; she then worked in the travel industry for much of her adult life. She lived in South Africa for two years and in the United States for fifteen years. Her first book, Golden Age Dating, was originally published in Hebrew. She currently lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
