Having braved the trials of the Maze beneath the Minotaur city of Az, young Valon leads a company of free fighting bulls south into the Hangrudon Mountains. There he meets with Queen Renna and the dwarfs of Tarmynd Hall, who face a grave enemy lurking in the Oringorod Wastes.
