Food and Agriculture in Global Perspective: Discussions in the Committee of the Whole of the United Nations presents the problem of food and agriculture in its total global international perspective from the point of view of the specialized agencies of the United Nations system and the States Members of the United Nations. The book discusses the problem of food and agriculture and its handling in the global perspective; groups the statements of the problem around international agency views and around the views of Member States; and presents the progress report of efforts by international agencies and by States. The text also describes the excerpts from the technical documents, and statements of Agency representatives and Member States in the seven specific issue areas found in the Agreed Conclusions of the Committee.
