It hits a balance between the interest of the public for light poems on one hand and imaginative poems portraying finesse of diction and imaginative depth that could win the consent of knowledgeable critics on the other hand. Alem Hailu is a published author from Ethiopia. He is a poet, novelist, translator, editor, critic and a journalist both in the print and electronics media. He is BSC and M.A holder in Mathematics and Literature from the Asddis Ababa Universality respectively. Most of his works hit the art and culture columns of different newspapers. He has award winning poems and short stories. Currently he is deputy Editor- in-Chief of the Ethiopia-Herald.
