Prof. Gyan Deep Singh was born in Muzaffarnagar, UP (lNDlA). He studied agriculture science at the Pusa University and obtained his doctrate at the Vinayak University. He is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Lucknow where he taught for 16 years in the Departments of Botany and Agriculture Science as well as the Conservation Biology Program, the lnstitute for Social, Economic, and Ecological Sustainability, the Center for Environmental Learning and Leadership Program in Global Change. At various times, he was a visiting scholar in Sweden, lndonesia, and China, as well as several universities and research institutions in the United States. Her research interests varied from isolation and characterization of agriculture Science, the effects of air pollution on plant, and land use planning and environmental policy. He has published various scientific articles or in different magazines and scientific Journals. He has also published hooks on Agriculture science, Plant pathology and a widely-used text on Agriculture and crop disease.
