Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. As the type of the first edition was about to be distributed there was found to be a greater demand for the work as relating to the descendants of James Cock the Quaker ancestor, 'and as it had proved impracticable to include in the first edition a number of lineages of allied families already in preparation, it has been thought advisable to issue a further edition of 105 copies. To that which has already appeared in the first edition is added a supplement of 71 pages of new matter, for the contents of which see page 404. In this is included all the corrections. And new data regarding our Family which an active correspondence could secure.
