Twenty years ago I began research on this book, the Atrocities Committed in the Name of God. The last thing I want to do is cause anyone to not believe in God. If you are content with your beliefs, more power to you. I am not writing this book to change your beliefs in God, but I am addressing religion. In specific, the Christian religion. The differences between the denominations of the Christian religion are almost enough to make one wonder if they worship the same God. They do have one thing in common, atrocities. Few are aware of these atrocities. They haven't stopped. As the Christians didn't realize what they were doing in the past, even now they are unaware of their violations of the Teachings of Jesus.

I have often been asked "Is there anything you haven't done?"
Before I retired at 63, twenty years ago, I already had multiple experiences. Since then, I have lived another life. From volunteer work with the Red Cross, to entertaining the elderly and those with special needs, from farming to creating farmer's markets, from giving over 100 speeches, writing hundreds of articles, writing and publishing three fiction and three non-fiction books (three of these books were written in the last year), life has been busy. With a goal of painting several pictures covering the life of the Amish who don't allow pictures and various other goals, I don't have enough time or energy. I am sure I will have more books to write. I hope you enjoy my writing as much as I enjoy writing.
