After a near-death experience, Damian Hunter has found himself in the unique position of being able to deliver messages from some recently deceased to their grieving families. Each time this phenomenon occurred, it turned into an opportunity of hope for loved ones. That is, until the day he was given a brief window to deliver a message to one of the most feared people in the country. Believing this errand to be futile, he nevertheless sets out on this task wondering whether or not he can deliver this message in a convincing manner, let alone survive the encounter.
