A visionary novel of healing, intuition, and the courage to follow what calls within

When Olympic champion Colin Shaffer loses both legs after a failed surgery, his best friend Gabriel refuses to stand aside. Driven by instinct more than logic, Gabriel steps into the fire-risking everything to restore more than what was lost.

Young, brilliant, and impossible to pin down, Gabriel is a med school rebel with gifted hands and a growing sense that something deeper is at work than conventional medicine admits. As legal threats mount, family ties unravel, and his career teeters on the edge, he begins to create something no one expected: a space where intuition leads, hidden gifts awaken, and healing defies explanation.

Surrounded by unlikely allies-a blind energy worker, a clairvoyant marked by grief, and a handful of others brave enough to trust-Gabriel embarks on a journey that challenges everything he thought he knew. What begins as an act of defiance becomes a path of the heart, where science meets spirit and the unfeasible begins to unfold.

Doctor of the Unfeasible is a luminous, genre-blending novel that explores the thresholds between reason and mystery, illness and transformation, doubt and inner knowing.

For readers of The Celestine Prophecy, The Healer, and The Alchemist, this is a story that asks: What if healing isn't about fixing the body-but listening to what calls us home?

Autorentext

Hélène Perrin-Gouron was born an artist with steady intuition. She attended film school and then spent two decades working as a screenwriter on international co-productions. It was useful work, but mostly pen-pushing for others. At some point, she shifted, wanting to be heard, to tell her own stories.

One day, a single line?"What we don't learn through wisdom, we learn through pain"?offered the green light to dig deeper: research, understanding, and self-authorization. That inquiry now shapes her fiction: the unseen showing up in everyday life, the process of healing, and the journey of becoming who we are.

Currently based in the South of France, Hélène is adapting her screenplays into novels, beginning with Doctor of the Unfeasible. The same craft tools apply, but in a new format: pace, image, and clarity.

She also paints under the name Grâce Pégéron (listed in Akoun). Different medium, same aim: to make meaning visible.
