This is the author's debut as writer. She was born in Portugal and has since long lived in Belgium. She is a wife and mother. This is a completely fictional short story of hope and resilience amidst much darkness in a girl's early infancy and teen years. She loves travelling and meeting new people. She studied in US, Portugal, Scotland and Belgium and has an executive MBA in International Management. She started her own company, Roxo BV, last year and is an active freelancer in the life sciences industry.
