Iszi Lawrence (@iszi_lawrence) is a writer, comedian, podcaster and history presenter. She is a regular on TV history documentaries including shows for Sky History, Netflix, Yesterday and the Smithsonian Channel. Her podcasts include The British Museum Membercast and popular science podcast Terrible Lizards with Dr Dave Hone. She is the author of hilarious middle-grade adventures including Blackbeard's Treasure (Blackwell's Children's Book of the Month, January 2023) and a quirky series for 6-9 year olds, The Time Machine Next Door. Rebecca Bagley is a freelance illustrator and book designer. She began illustrating by self-publishing and selling short graphic novels about robots and bears. After graduating in 2014, she worked for a short time in children's publishing as a designer and now draws full time. Her work captures little tales of silliness that centre around characters and simple pleasures. Rebecca is based in Bath and is sure to always make time for baking.
