Lisa Giles and J. Blythe Ammons are sisters. The inspiration for Jimmy and the Cowboy Boots came from watching their children begin a trend of wearing cowboy boots with all sorts of unusual attire- cowboy boots with shorts, cowboy boots with pajamas, and even cowboy boots with underwear.
