Author J.S. Burns developed an appreciation of the cowboy lifestyle as a teenager while working as a ranch hand and moving cattle in Wyoming. After traveling the nation as a truck driver for over 20 years, Burns was inspired to become a writer. He successfully completed multiple short stories and a novella before writing his first novel "Hopeful Springs Ranch: God's Pathway from Grief to Love. He and his wife live in Sour Lake, Texas. He is the father of five and has 3 grandchildren.
