'It's a Fallen World' doesn't offer simple comforts or tidy conclusions. Instead, it presents a collection of darkly comedic stories that navigate the boundaries between science fiction, ancient myth, and the absurd patterns of human behavior. Here, the lines between time, belief, and perception dissolve.
At once sharp, thoughtful, and disquieting, 'It's a Fallen World' invites readers who appreciate looking over the edge to travel into worlds that feel frighteningly real. You'll find that this collection of short stories is irresistible. This is Flash Fiction at its finest. It lingers in the mind and heart after the last sentence and calls the reader back again and again into strange and forbidden places.

Jack Webb was born in South Carolina, then raised mostly on U.S. Air Force bases, in Europe and the southwestern U.S. After graduating from college, he became involved in the motion picture industry and eventually became a director of photography. While working in film production, Jack honed his addictions to a fine edge. Now, with many years of sobriety under his belt, he has taken to writing short stories. These stories are based on real-life experiences, tales he has heard told and his own vivid imagination. This is his first novella.
