When Chloe's expedition uncovers a pristine Aztec temple hidden in the Sierra Madre, she expects a breakthrough in her search for a legendary artifact. But what begins as an academic triumph turns into a supernatural nightmare. Trapped by rising waters and a self-proclaimed prophet of the gods, Chloe and her team must choose: offer a blood sacrifice, or die trying to escape. As ancient forces stir and myth bleeds into reality, Chloe discovers that some gods don't need belief-only obedience.
