Beyond the Last Mark is a tale of hard men on hard ground, pushing past the edge of maps and memory. When two seasoned frontiersmen set their sights on land no one claims and few return from, they discover that the wilderness keeps its own reckonings. Hunger, weather, and unseen enemies test not only their skill, but their trust in one another. Out where trails vanish and promises mean little, survival comes at a cost?and some lines, once crossed, can never be stepped back over.
Autorentext
Jeremiah Journey owns one of the largest cattle ranches in Wyoming.
He worked alongside his older brother Jacob until Jacob's death in August 2024.
Riding beside Jacob, they talked many times about writing a Western. Jacob would say, "You're the one with the imagination, so, you should be the one to write it."
Jerry decided if a Western was going to be written, he was going to have to write it.
He dedicates this first novel to his brother Jacob Journey.
