Chinese Take-Out is an elevated, slow-burn thriller series set in rural Canada, where an exhausted escapee from Beijing's Ministry of State Security triggers a collision between ordinary citizens and international power. When Syun Se - a disciplined, guarded analyst with knowledge the MSS desperately wants back - seeks refuge at a decaying estate, her rescuers, Wallsy and Norsworthy, are drawn into a widening conspiracy involving Tibetan monks, foreign operatives, and a courier whose quiet death sparks investigations in both the RCMP and CSIS. As threads tighten, small decisions in quiet places escalate into national consequences.
