This is the authors second novel,his first 'Mike and Jan, John and Janet' was published in 2007. This story is set in 1971 when escaping to the countryside to enjoy the good life, a rare happening. Whilst Mike struggles to produce an income from the smallholding and repair the ancient farmhouse, Jan has a particularly problematic involvement with a female neighbour.
