The author was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree by Southampton Institute in 1994 and a Master's degree in Employment Law by the University of Leicester in 1997. He has written about and practiced employment law for twenty seven years and has represented clients at employment tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. His clients have ranged from a shop floor worker to a chief constable.
