In a town where stray cats and dogs roam the streets and alleyways, their stories come to life?told from their own point of view and from the humans who try to help them. Some people see dogs and cats as nothing more than mousers or guard animals, but others see something more: a friend, a creature in need, a spark of hope. As the cats search for food, shelter, and kindness, they cross paths with grown-ups who begin to question what it really means to care. This heartfelt tale explores friendship, survival, and the courage to speak up for those who can't speak up for themselves. Stray is a work of fiction that strives to educate and urges responsible pet ownership.

Autorentext

I am a storyteller with a heart for animals and a keen eye for the everyday magic in unlikely places. My newest book, Stray, invites kids aged 7?13 to enjoy reading and learning about the struggles, hopes, and dreams of stray animals and the people who seek to rescue them.

I invite people of every age to read to and talk about books with young people as a steppingstone to worlds outside their everyday experience.

When not writing, I enjoy exploring local parks, the zoo, sketching story ideas, and volunteering for humanitarian and environmental causes. I am curious by nature and always on the lookout for the next tale waiting to be told.
