Bridge Troll and Beloved Dog begin their adventure from the woods to the sea. Along the way they encounter rejection, homelessness, and acceptance. They meet the Church Lady and the three of them learn that through hope, faith, and endurance they can each find their own brand of freedom.

Mrs. Collins is a preschool teacher, wife, mother, and member of a small rural church in the foothills of Virginia. The adventures of Bridge Troll and Beloved Dog are based on the true life of a traveling man and his American bull dog. He has had many adventures before they met and will undoubtedly have many more.
