Kathryn's debut novel, More of Me, won the 2016 Edinburgh International Book Festival First Book Award the first YA novel ever to do so and the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award, and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal. In addition to writing, running a fruit farm and raising two children, Kathryn loves to belly dance, fences competitively and is Finance Co-ordinator for The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
