In a noisy, fast-moving world, it is far too easy to lose our inner peace, our clarity, and even our sense of groundedness. From This Purple Chair to Yours is a tender invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the quiet spaces where your soul can rest, heal, and awaken.

Through gentle reflections-many rooted in Scripture and all grounded in spacious, compassionate spiritual guidance-this devotional offers what so many hearts long for today: simple practices of pause, mindful awareness, and soul-deep calm that help transform your thought life and renew your inner world. This devotional honors the wisdom of the Bible while offering spacious, inclusive guidance for readers of every background. Each "ripple" follows a thoughtful rhythm-Gather, Reflect on the Human Struggle, Be Illumined by the Divine Contrast, Pause & Ponder, Pray, and Journal-guiding you into a deeper awareness of the Sacred, however you understand It.

Their home has hosted uplifting classes, study groups, and weary travelers in a small guest suite, reflecting their lifelong commitment to generosity, care, and community. As they reflect on those days and continue, they realize what they were offering was love in action - not just in words.Today, Kathy draws on her background in education, her training as a certified spiritual guide, and her certifications in This Naked Mind(TM) and Affective Liminal Psychology(TM) to guide others with tender loving care, compassion, and curiosity. From her beloved purple chair, she invites readers and fellow travelers to pause, reflect, and choose the thoughts that shape their lives. Her hope is that every ripple of this book reminds others that they are uniquely designed, deeply loved, and always capable of transformation.
