During a visit to a charming bed & breakfast in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, reluctant "lightworker" Suzy Quinn is pursuing her new romance with writer Fin MacKinley. While there, she is contacted by the ghost of a young musician who died almost a century and a half before. Employing her recently-discovered and sometimes eerily unsettling talent, her SpiritSense, Suzy follows this young woman's life in the booming silver town, and her romantic link to a local legend, the manager of the "7:30 Mine."

But an alarming turn of events sends Suzy and Fin careening into a totally different and alarmingly unexpected journey.

Autorentext

Kelly Cheek has been closely following a creative muse for his entire life. Almost from infancy, he frequently had a pencil in his hand, drawing pictures or writing simple childish tales.

In his teens, he began trying his hand at writing actual short stories. Having spent years honing his craft, he's also a lover of history, and of the fact that he's 1/16th Cherokee. (Yes, he has blond hair and blue eyes -- he's also part Irish.

He is particularly fascinated with how the past interacts with and influences the present. Kelly Cheek lives in Denver, Colorado, not far from where Isadora Byrnes settled, where he can often be found hunched over his computer, pouring his lifeblood into his next opus.
