It's intriguing how he fleshed out the struggle of having siblings and sharing the same space with them; many people can relate to this situation. This book was mostly narrated from Tommy's point of view. It was filled with suspense, crime, mystery, and violence and shed light on how childlike innocence can be tainted by the circumstances of life.
