Detective Lily Parker travels to Thailand to speak at a global Interpol conference about her experience at the hands of human traffickers. She invites her colleagues, Rebecca Chambers from New Zealand and Omar Tamime from Morocco along as her guests. At least one of them is hiding an ulterior motive and the combination of the three of them spells trouble for Police Colonel Suchart Thanarat of the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Bureau. If only he could contain them in the capital but the North beckons, the Golden Triangle, where the worst elements in transnational crime carry out their operations.
