Fly Fishing the Troutless River is a collection of stories reflecting on the joys, challenges, tribulations, defeats, and victories of a fly fisherman trying to balance the need to chase fish with a fly rod with work, marriage, and raising small fly fishermen (children). With his own particular style, the author recounts tales of trips to a strange world; where on any given day one might find glorious rewards or a series of (seemingly) random, but always humorous mishaps and quasi-disasters... the world we call the great outdoors.

Born in Newport Beach, California in 1970, Kevin App attended college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He has since made his residence in Montana, Colorado, Washington, and now Oregon. All of those places, as he will happily share with you, are full of fish.
