Some of these poems are previously unpublished; others were self-published in the chapbooks False Hounds (1996) and Fallow (1997). A few were included in the collection Lady of the Shuttles (1996), published within the anthology Calabash, a project of the Writing, Literature and Publishing Division, Emerson College.
