These in turn can result in a lifetime of cherishing fond memories, being a part of a community, and sharing in a Christian bond that outlasts the immediate moments of grief. As one who has loved writing since early childhood, Krista penned her first story after a frightening medical incident that left her wondering what direction life would take. She realized as a mother and professional working with children that her talents as an author would allow her to open difficult topics to discussions with children at home, in schools, and in religious environments.
