The author was born in Alabama, left when she was about a year old. Grew up in Michigan a place called Byron Center. She had a very abusive life at the hands of her father. Coming from a large family there wasn't much money to go around for enjoyable things like parks and fairs etc... but she survived doing and dealing with her friends. Had the opportunity to go to college and eventually received her Masters in counseling which she applied toward her work in the spiritual world of knowledge.
