Author Laura Spearman is very proud to be a mom, a native New Yorker, and the daughter of a N.Y.C. Firefighter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (in the fields of language and education) from Brooklyn College, as well as a Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University. Ms. Spearman has worked as both a teacher and tutor, and she has fifteen years of experience counseling children, adults, families, couples, and groups.
