On a recent trip to Israel he was struck by a simple observation used by the Israeli Guide of an "Empty Cloud" while visiting the Oasis of Ein Gedi. The account of that experience led him to write this personal meditation on how that lends itself to all of the concerns that arise when we say a prayer.

Vorwort
There is more to a prayer than saying the words. When I say "Thy Will be done", I am engaging in my Father's business, and His ways are not mine. In Jon Bloom's book, "Don't Follow Your Heart" he describes how our own desires can diverge from that goal. I have discovered that the reminders are within ourselves and without in God's own creation.
