Growing up in Kilburn, siblings Madani, Maryam and school mate Alex hit it off from the moment they meet. 10 years later, playground chats about ninja turtles, annoying aunties and secret swearing have been kicked out by teen opinions powered by podcasts, porn and politics. Still, best friends can talk about anything. So why are there suddenly so many things left unsaid between the three?

Lucy Danser has written three plays, If This Is Normal, Lost in Thought and Rachael's Cafe, which have been performed around the UK at theatres including Theatre 503, The Old Red Lion, Soho Theatre, Greenwich Theatre, Embassy Studio at Central School of Speech & Drama, the Brighton Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, VAULT Festival and Dublin Gay Theatre Festival. The plays have explored a variety of topics ranging from a complicated coming-of-age story to a mother and daughter coping with mental illness and a true tale of coming out as trans while living on the Bible Belt.
