Autorentext
On June 16, 1858 while accepting the Illinois Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, Abraham Lincoln delivered his iconic speech: "A house divided against itself cannot stand". Unfortunately, we have reached that same level of division today. Nietzsche preached "There is no truth". But we can escape the confusion of Nietzsche by: (1) Separating scientific facts and legal evidence from opinions. (2)Tolerating the opinions of our neighbors as legitimate rights of free speech; (3)Seeking the common ground in our beliefs which we can all agree on; and (4)Choosing the candidates which best represent these common values.
