A Captivating Tale of Dark Family Secrets, Heart-Breaking Betrayal and Loss

I'll come back for you--I promise...

Sage's world was turned upside down at the tender age of six. Her sister mysteriously vanishes, her mother disappears, and her father abandons her on a street corner in Harlem.

Rookie cop Liam McGregor finds Sage standing on a street corner, shivering, gripping a faded photo. Rather than handing her over to Child Protective Services, he takes her home, believing someone will eventually come forward for her. Unfortunately, no one does.

After graduating from college, Sage moves to Manhattan to chase her dreams and start a new life. Unfortunately, her new husband, Ayden De Carlo, was the victim of a ruthless execution-style murder, leaving a trail of mystery and unanswered questions for now, Detective Liam McGregor. Sage, heartbroken, leaves New York and purchases a stone cottage in rural Vermont, hoping to leave her painful and unresolved past behind her.

Soon after she began writing again--life was as peaceful as the natural backdrop of the Vermont countryside.
UNTIL... A mysterious stranger, an obscure phone call, and a tangled web of events unfold, challenging lead detective Liam McGregor and his team.
From page one, Willow Lake will mesmerize you with unique characters, heart-pulsing suspense, and a bit of humor and romance.
