One night in Sao Paulo, a strange light streaks across the sky, arousing the curiosity of journalist Weston Peterson. He decides to investigate the mysterious event and, in the process of pursuing the truth, meets the mysterious woman Evelyn. Later, he learns that the clues point to a secret research organisation in Buenos Aires, so he resolutely sets off on a journey to Buenos Aires.
