Margie Shade Nelson was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and began writing poetry as a child. She writes from life experiences, and has shared her poetry in various places. She has worked with children for over 15 years and manages an in home daycare. She has several poetry books entitled Poetic Blessings, Sharing a Gift, and the Highs and Lows of Life. Margie Shade Nelson is a wife, a mother of three adult children, and grandmother to a wonderful grandson, named Creaden to whom this book is dedicated.
