Too often, I and fellow women would hear misperceptions about women's importance in Christianity. From the comparisons and jests, women like me would feel disenfranchised. This book serves as a reminder that women had a role in the origin of the Christian faith, as well as the evangelism of the Christian faith all over the globe.

Considering Maria's early life, she was shaped by the words of her favourite primary school teacher- Mrs Wilson. Mrs Wilson said that she was a writer. At the time, Maria was only in Year 3, but Mrs Wilson encouraged her to be the best, regardless of discrimination, and to be brave enough to pursue writing. Maria, in addition to teaching and serving, commits herself to writing. Every book she writes and publishes is inspired by reader requests, thereby leaving a literary legacy.
