Good leaders have the ability to make an organization rise to the top of the mountain. In this book, I relay thirteen leadership lessons that I learned over the course of my 24 year Army career. Anyone can be a leader. The decision we have to make is are we going to be a good leader or a bad one?

Mark was born and raised in Corbin, KY, where he now lives with his wife and two children. He served for 24 years in the United States Army, retiring in March 2024 at the rank of First Sergeant.

In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking and going to church.
