Bachelor Thesis from the year 2008 in the subject Computer Science - Programming, grade: 1, University of Vienna (Information Systems), language: English, abstract: JAssign is a Java-based application to assign students to topics of a university course according to their individual preferences used for ranking these topics. Interaction with the program can be conducted over a graphical user interface based on Swing which allows importing, exporting or modifying the data and setting constraints for the optimization process. This bachelor thesis documents the architecture and main functionality of the application. It also provides a basic description of Java 's Swing toolkit.
