Marsha Nixon Powell is a Philadelphia native. She lives with her family in Northeast Philadelphia. She is a long-time cancer survivor who has been a business owner (Family Child Care) and currently works as a Behavioral Health Technician in the Philadelphia School system with autistic and special needs children. She also works as a home caregiver for senior citizens in the Philadelphia and Bucks County areas. She recently wrote her first book - "I'm The Healthiest Sick Person I Know" and her second book - "The Many Rewards and Challenges of Being a Caregiver".
